I’ve been getting inquiries about my job for the past few weeks. I know my blog is all about fashion and lifestyle however, just because I love the fashion industry, doesn’t mean I play an active role in it apart from blogging and writing in newspaper columns. I work for a media network as a product development specialist–yes, it’s a Marketing profession though not that far off from the spectrum, if you ask me.

Unlike working as a freelance stylist where the world is your playground, the office environment is somewhat constricted yet pretty tame. It is never without limits–appropriate dressing is paramount (though I break the dress code ever so often) but hey, on the bright side, we’re not required to wear stiff uniforms. So for every weekday, I dress up like this–mostly in comfortable clothes, not showing as much skin as I normally do on weekends, while not compromising my style (or, what I’d like to believe, is my style).

This is my team and this is my boss’s gigantic cube–she’s the one in the middle. The one on the far right is my partner Queena, and the one behind is Yule, from research. They are commemorating and spazzing out over the new Canon G12 I’m using.

This is the world’s most annoying necklace. Jurgen got it for me from some random bazaar at around $2 more or less. Anyway, it’s so freaking adorable! You can actually dangle the fish bone directly in front of the cat! I love it, really. I figured, “Wow, if this doesn’t qualify as Asian Fashion then I don’t know what is”–and yes, it is a joking reference to the Japanese and Korean fashionistas’ penchant for all things cute.

I got this package from Korea–it’s the harem pants worn above in my outfit post, sent by Yozo magazine (along with a copy of their magazine featuring real girls and Asian Fashion). EXR is the same brand endorsed by Wonder Girls–for this collection, they had the adorable Pucca characters as a part of their clothing prints.

Anyway, thank you EXR and Yozo for the awesome, awesome pants! They are extremely comfortable and adorable! I’ve worn them twice this week already! First, to the premiere of Devil, and then next, to the office (photo above), and yet I don’t think I’ve done it enough justice!
